Upper Hutt League The following arc the results of th? Upper Hutt Cricket League’s fixtures played on Saturday : — Trentham 47 and 100 for nine declared, defeated Training Depot A 50 and 50, by 47 runs. This is the first defeat of Depot A in two seasons with the Hutt league. Maori Bank Colts 140 (Irvine 64, Smith 43), won on the first innings against Training Depot B 132 (Manders 28, Wotherspoob 23, Troy 21). Bowling for Colts, Auckram took four for 50 and Smith four for 54. For Depot B, Wotherspoon took four for 47, Manders, two for 33, and McCulloch, one for 3. No cricket will be possible on Maidstone Park next Saturday, owing to picnics requiring all grounds. League matches are therefore again postponed The following “friendlies” will take place at Trentham Camp:—Ordnance v. Depot B ; Depot A v. Colts. Championship points to date are: — Training Depot A, 66; Trentlnun, 53; Colts, 42; Training Depot B, 40; Methodist, 40; Ordnance, 33; Upper Hutt. 26; St. 20.
