NAVAL CONFERENCE

Japanese as Observers

London, January 20.

The Japanese delegation has notified Lord Monsell, chairman of tbe First Committee of the Naval Conference, of its acceptance of his invitation to send observers to the conference, and named Mr. R. Fujii, counsellor at the Embassy, and Captain Fujita, naval attache.

It is understood the sub-committee dealing with the question practically agreed that the four Powers exchange information regarding their building programmes during the first four months each year.
