Tekiri. COPTIC HOMEWARD BOUND. The Shaw, Savill motor-ship Coptic left Wellington finally last night for London, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas. MAMARI IN BALLAST. The Shaw, Savill Company have received cabled advice that the Mamari left London on Saturday afternoon in ballast for New Zealand ports. She is coming via the Cape of Good Hope, and is due on the coast about March 8. WAIPAWA’S FAST TRIP HOME. The Shaw, Savill motor-ship Walpawa, which left Wellington on December 20 for London via the Panama Canal, arrived Home on Sunday afternoon, after a smart passage of 29} days, THE CANADIAN BRITISHER. The Canadian National freighter Canadian Britisher is due at Wellington at noon to-day from Auckland, to continue discharge of her Montreal cargo. She will leave again to-morrow to complete at Australian ports. CORNWALLIS LOADING. The Canadian National steamer Cornwallis left Wellington last night for Auckland and Napier, She is due back here on January 30, and will leave Wellington the following day for New York, Boston and Halifax. PORT ADELAIDE TO COMPLETE. The C. and D. Line’s Port. Adelaide left Wellington yesterday for Napier. She is to sail finally from there on Saturday for London, by Cape Horn. PORT HUON DUE. The C. and D. Line motor-ship Port Huon is due to-day from Bluff. She will leave on Saturday to complete at Auckland, sailing on February 4 for London. MANJU MARU’S CHARTER. The Y.K.K. steamer Manju Maru left Wellington yesterday to complete discharge of her Japanese cargo, to the agency of Messrs. Wright. Stephenson, at Lyttelton and Dunedin. She has been chartered by the 0.5. K., after discharge, to load wool and general cargo for Japan. The Federal Company are agents. NARDANA IN PORT. The A. and A. chartered steamer Nardana. discharging to the Federal Company’s agency, reached Wellington yesterday from Auckland. She is berthed at Pipitea. She will sail on Saturday for Lyttelton. NEW UNILEVER CONTRACTS. According to various reports in the German Press, a number of important oraers have been placed with German yards by the Unilever interests. It is understood that the object is to release some of the combine’s frozen credits in Germany, for negotiations are stated to be-proceeding regarding the proportion of the contract payments to be made in blocked marks. The orders reported are as follow: Deutsche Werft, Hamburg, four motor tankers of 14.500 tons each, with a speed of 13 knots, and four cargo motor-ships of 9300 tons each (for account of a Dutch subsidiary of Uniliver); Bremer Vulkan, Vegesack, two cargo motor-ships of 8500 tons each, a motor-tanker of 14,500 tons dw., and two whaling steamers; Flensburger SchiffsbauGes., two motor-ships of 8500 tons each; the Deschimag (Wesermunde yard), 13 trawlers. The whole order represents a total of over 160,000 tons d.
