The wedding was solemnised at Roslyn Presbyterian Church.,'Dunedin. recently, when Amelia Syme, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. .Tames FTill, Dbnedin. was married to George Maynard, only son ofiMr. anil Mrs. George Mtircli. Wanganui. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a tunic frock of deep ivory lame, witli diagonal gold stripes, and I rain of georgette. The veil was sewn with gold thread and caught by a Russian head-dress. Iler bouquet was of cream roses and spirea. The bridesmaid was Miss Agnes Hill, who wore rose pink floral georgette with net flounce appliqued with roses to match her Juliet cap. Pink and mauve sweet peas composed her bouquet. The Rev. 11. A. Mitchell was the officiating clergyman and Mr. John Orr was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Savoy Somerset Lounge, where Mrs. Hill received her guests wearing beige lace and brown velvet, and brown maroeain coat, with crinoline hat’ to match. Mrs. March wore black lace and black hat. When Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Mure’) left, the latter wont a navy blue ensemble, with hat and accessories to match. Their future home will be at Wellington.
