-Mr. R. 11. Nesbitt. Australian Trade Commissioner, has left for Auckland.
Mr. J. R. McKenzie, Christchurch, left Wellington last night for the north. Mr. Justice Fair was a passenger from Wellington on Saturday night for Christchurch. Mr. H. A. le Pine returned to Wellington from the south on Saturday morning. Mr. W. Kirkland, Foxton, left 'Wellington on Saturday by the Maratna for Melbourne.
Mr. P. J. O’Regan, who has been spending the legal vacation on the West Coast, has returned to Wellington.
Dr. R. F. Wilson, who has been studying abroad, arrived at Wellington by the Remuera from Loudon yesterday.
Mr. F. AV. Mothes, managing director of the Goldberg Advertising Agency, Ltd., has returned to Wellington from the South Island.
Mr. A. 11. Pargeter, 8.U0m., A.R.A., N.Z., of the Wanganui Collegiate School staff, has accepted a position as accountancy and economies muster at Christ’s College, Christchurch. Mr. Leslie Walton, chairman of the board of directors of the Vauxhall Motor Company, Ltd., Luton, England, arrived at Wellington from tile South Island on Saturday morning. Dr. it. Small, Devonshire, England, was a passenger by the Remuera, which arrived at Wellington from London yesterday. He intends to spend two or three months fishing in the South Island. The Rev. T. Dent, of Hie Thames Methodist Church, has been notified by the Australian Board of Missions that his services have been accepted for the 'lslands. He will probably leave for Fiji in April. Mr. J. N. Peart, the new headmaster of King's College, Auckland, arrived at Wellington by the Remuera from London yesterday. Air. Peart, who is accompanied by his family, left last night for Raglan, where he intends staying with his mother for a few days before going on to Auckland. The Rev. 11. R. Jecks is in charge of St. Luke’s Church, Havelock North, in the absence of the Venerable Archdeacon K. S. Maclean, who will leave shortly on a holiday visit to England. Archdeacon Maclean, who is undertaking the trip for health reasons, will be away for about 10 months. Dr. Edgar Bainton, director of the New South Wales Government Conservatorium of Music, Sydney, arrived at Wellington from the south yesterday morning. Dr. Bainton came via .Melbourne, and since he has been in New Zealand he has walked the Milford-Tc Anau Track.
