Much interest has been centred in the approaching season of the famous London Coliseum Theatre musical production “White Horse Inn,” which the J. C. Williamson Ltd. management is staging nt the Grand Opera House for a brief period, beginning on Wednesday, January 29. “White Horse Inn” is at present: enjoying the most successful tour in the provincial centres ever experienced by a J. In consequence of the phenomenal demand for seats for the opening gala performance of “’White Horse Inn” thn management in this morning's advertisement requests “first nighters” to make application for their reservations to-morrow before 5 o’clock, and that after that time all s’eats not applied for will be sold when the plans are opened for the ordinary booking on Friday next. The forward mechanical stuff of mechanists and electricians arc already busily engaged at the Grand Opera House, making the necessary structural alterations t u the stage and installing Hie latest and most effective lighting effects.
