McCarten Rides Three Winners (Hee. January 19, 6.30 p.m.) Sydney, January 19. At the Warwick Farm races McCarten continued on his winning, way, riding the winners of the Maiden Handicap and two divisions of the Nursery Handicap. Results include: SEFTON HANDICAP. Seven furlongs. CEREZA, 8.3 (Pratt) 1 SHORT WAVE, 8.3 (Knox) 2 BOMBUS, 8.4 (Munro) 3 Fourteen started, including Golden Gate, Golden Chance and Gay Seton. One length and a half; one length and a quarter. Time. 1.26. Clara Butt and Hands Up were unplaced in the Malden Handicap. The Palmist was third in the Nursery Hack, first division, in which Rob Roy was unplaced. Jubilee Singer was unplaced in the second division. Miss Nottava. Limbohm. Loud Applause and Cockpen were unplaced in the January Handicap. Lovesong was unplaced in the Berala Handicap.
