WANGANUI YACHTING
Studholme Cup Races
Dominion Special Service.
Wanganui, January 19.
The second of a series of races for the Studholme Cup was held by the Wanganui Sailing Club on Saturday. A northwest wind made conditions on the river severe. Mishaps to craft were frequent. Comet capsized, and Neptune, a J l-footer of the Kona class, heeled so far over that her mainsail flapped in the water. Snipe also experienced the same predicament. Nine boats competed in the race, which Mistral won, Next home were Avalon and Eve.
