The boxer Ambrose Palmer states that he will not make a decision whether to accept the offer fo fight Henncberry until a medical examination of his wife, who has been ill, has shown that she is fit to travel with him fo England. lie is eager to return to England, but will not go without his wife.
The return fight between Bep Van Klaveren and Carroll will take place cn February 11.
A cable received yeoterday stated that. Mr. Munro, manager of (he National Boxing Club, stated that, the club had accepted the terms submitted by Ambrose Palmar to induce him to remain in Australia. and bud arranged for Palmer to meet Fred Henneberry in a light-heavy-weight championship bout at the Stadium on February 10.
