NINE BURNT TO DEATH
Mother and Eight Children London, January 13. A mother and her eight children, of ages ranging from one to 13 years, were incinerated in a miner’s wooden cottage at Tyldesley, Lancashire. The father. Adam Tyrer, jumped from a window to obtain help, but the flames spread amazingly and overcame tlie mother as she was trying to throw the children from a window.
