FRENCH GOLD LOSSES
Huge Total Last Year HOLDING STILL LARGE Paris, December 26. France lost 15,827.000,006 francs worth of gold during 1935 but maintained its position as the second largest holder of the metal in the world. The Bank of France's statement today revealed that the total gold holdings as at December 20 amounted to 66,297,000.000 francs, compared with 82,124,000,000 in 1934.
