Hunter—Seiwood
The wedding took place recently at the Thorndon Methodist Church of Marjorie Thelma, only daughter of Mr. ami Mrs. L. C. Seiwood, ■Wellington, and Hugh Hunter, son of Mrs. and the late Mr. Hunter, also of 'Wellington.
The Rev. T. R. Richards officiated, and the organist was Mr. IV. Richardson.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a marina rose ensemble, with large picture hat to tone. She carried a bouquet of roses and fern. Miss Mavis Hunter acted as bridesmaid, and wore a blue floral frock, and matching straw hat. She carried a bouquet of blue larkspur and pink roses. Mrs. A. L. Richardson, of Johnsonville, acted as matron of honour. She wore a lemon floral frock with a large pale green picture hat to tone. Her bouquet was of roses.
Air. Geoffrey Selwopd acted as best man. Air. Jack Seiwood was groomsman, and Mr. Eric A. Seiwood acted as usher. IVhen the bride left the church she was presented with two horseshoes from her two little cousins, Margaret Hocking and Beryl Richardson. At the reception Mrs. Seiwood received her guests wearing a wine ensemble and hat to tone. She was assisted by tlie bridegroom’s mother, who wore a green and fawn gown.
IVhen Mr. and Airs. Hugh Hunter left, the Latter was wearing a smart brown costume with accessories to tone.
