.Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Todd, Heretaunga, have left to visit the Franz. Josef and Fox Glaciers. Mr. and Mrs. C. Levien, Nelson, are visiting Wellington and staying in Murphy Street.
Mr. and Mrs. T. Barnott, Raetihi, are visiting Mrs. and Miss Barnott, ■Wanganui.
Mr, and Mrs. Hope Gibbons and Miss Gibbons have returned to Wanganui from ’Wellington.
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Hawke, Eltham, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Mills, 'Wanganui East. Mr. and Mrs. H. Craig have arrived from the south and are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. Chadwick, Lansdowne, Masterton.
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Brickman, Onepu Road, Lyall Bay, have left for a motor trip to Auckland. Miss Marjorie Willcocks, Wellington, is visiting Auckland, and left by the Monowai yesterday for the North Auckland cruise.
Mr. and Mrs. Eric Lawson, Eastbourne, accompanied by their children, have left for a motor tour of the South Island.
Miss Pauline Shotlander has left oa a visit to Melbourne, where she will be the guest of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Shotlander
Mrs. J. IV. Macdonald and Misses Peggy and Nancy Macdonald, Aurora Terrace, left yesterday by ear for Castlepoint.
Miss Dora Miller, North Otago tennis representative, who is in 'Wellington for the 'Wellington and New Zealand championships, is the guest of Mrs. E. Cresswell, Aurora Terrace.
Mrs. Wilson, “Alarotiri,” Foxton, will be a visitor to Marton for the New Year, and proceeds from there to Hunterville, where she will be the guest of Mrs. J. Griffen.
Mr. and Mrs. Horman and Misses H. and I. Horman (Lower Hutt), Mr. and Mrs. H. Mcßain (Lower Hutt), were Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Bassett’.s guests for the Christmas holidays.
Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Hardy, of New Plymouth, accompanied by Miss Hardy and Master lan Hardy, are staying at the Hotel Windsor, and are-sailing by the Monowai on Monday for Sydney, where they intend to make their future home.
