Several Events Won By Wellington Crews Dominion Special Service. AVanganui, December 26. A large attendance lining both banks of the river was at the AVanganui, rowing and speed-boat regatta held at Sandy Hook to-day. The weather was ideal, and the condition of the water course was excellent in the morning, but variable for the rest of the day. Following are the results: — Maiden fours, open, one mile: Petonc, 1; AVanganui, 2; New Plymouth,,3. ■ Maiden double sculls, one mile: AVellington, 1; Union No. 1,2; Aramoho, 3. Youths’ fours, one mile: Star (AVellington), 1 ; Aramoho, 2. Senior fours, one mile and a half: Aramoho, 1; Star, 2; Union, 3. Junior clinker fours, one mile and a half; Petonc, 1; Star, 2; Aramoho, 3. Lightweight one mile: AVanganui, 1; Union No. 2,2; Union No. 1, 3. WAIRAU CLUB’S JUBILEE By Telegraph—Press Association. Blenheim, December 26. The AA'airau Rowing Club’s silver jubilee regatta was held on the AA’airau River to-day in ideal conditions. Blenheim, AA'airau, Picton and AVellington clubs were represented. AVellington met with only a entail measure of success, the only placing being second in the junior fours, one mile and a half. Picton won the jubilee senior fours, the junior fours, junior welter fours, aud youths’ fours. AA'airau won the maiden fours and were second in the lightweight maiden, second in the youths’ fours, second in the jubilee senior fours, and third in the junior welter fours. Blenheim won the lightweight maiden and were second in the maiden fours and junior welter fours, third in the junior fours, and third in the jubilee fours. COMBINED OTAGO REGATTA By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, December 26. There was a large attendance at the combined Boxing Day regatta at Macandrew’s Bay, and entries showed a big improvement over the last few years. Chief interest centred in the rowing events, in which all the clubs iu Otago were represented. The most successful club was the Otago Rowing Club, which gained five wins and three seconds. Port Chalmers club hacT two wins, and Queen’s Drive club one. A handicap sailing race for 14-footers was won by AA'inifred (7min.). A’al (scr.) was second, and Betty (2min.) third. OCEAN YACHT RACE By Telegraph—Press Association. Blenheim, December 26. Viola won the ocean yacht race from AVellington to Tory Channel. Nanette was second.
