Late Night on Tuesday Christmas Eve, next Tuesday, will be late shopping night next week; the following week it will be on Friday as usual. The closing hours for grocers next week will be;—Alonday 5.30 p.m., Tuesday (Christmas Eve) 10 p.m., AVednesday and Thursday closed all day, Friday 5.30 p.m., and Saturday 12.30 p.m. During the following week they will close at 5.30 p.m. ou Monday and Tuesday (the latter being New Year’s Eve), all day on AVednesday and Thursday, at 9 p.m. on Friday, and at 12.30 p.m. on Saturday. Butchers will close their premises at 5.30 p.m. on Monday next, at 6 p.m. on Tuesday (Christmas Eve), all day on AVednesday and Thursday, at 5.30 p.m. on Friday, and at the customary time, which varies slightly, on Saturday. The same hours will be observed on" the corresponding days during the following week. On Christmas Eve drapers will remain open until 10 p.m., and on Friday of next week until 5.30 p.m. They will close as usual at 12.30 p.m. on Saturday. The late night in the following week will be on the Friday (January 3) when they will close at 9 p.m. On New Year’s Eve they will close at 5.30 p.m.
