SECRETARIES MEET

Christmas Luncheon The annual Christinas meeting of the Wellington Chapter of the New Zealand Institute of Secretaries yesterday took the form of a pleasant informal luncheon. The actual business of the meeting was light and was pushed through expeditiously. The speaker at the luncheon was the Minister of Finance, Hon. W. Nash, who dealt with a wide range of subjects, as reported elsewhere. Mr. W. R. Kell presided. The president, Mr. E. A. Wallace, in introducing Mr. Nash, said he knew the whole of the secretaries would get behind him in his work. They were not concerned with any party, but they were vitally concerned with the Government of the day.

Messrs. E. A. Wallace, J. AnuandSmith and G. N. Boulton, were reelected to represent the chapter on the New Zealand council.
