Though fewer troops are proceeding to Africa, November statistics show that Italy’s military passengers south* ward through the Suez Canal during 1935 exceed 300,000.. Cash payments in canal dues totalled £1,250,000. Eight thousand sick and wounded are among the 20,000 men who have returned. The aircraft carrier Miraglia, with bombers stacked as high as the bridge, passed through the canal at the weekend.
