MODIFIED DESIGNS
Many designers who showed exotic clothes aud went to extremes that reminded us of fauey dress have now modified these lines. Sleeves are big, but not quite so big; draped frocks all preserve the slim silhouette; many of the dresses have small trains; frocks that are very decollete have little coats to go with them, or one designer supplies every evening frock with a very long and billowy chiffon scarf in it contrasting colour.
