Water Polo. In a. B grade water-polo championship match at Te Aro baths last evening Lyall Bay B defeated Island Bay by 1 goal to nil. The scorer was Deck. Crippled Children. On the motion of Mr. A. W. Croskery, the 'Wellington Hospital Board decided last night to ask the medical superintendent to bring down a report as to the advisability of having an open-air room or ward constructed for the use of crippled children. Medical Staff. By eight votes to live the Wellington Hospital Board decided last night that if two or more medical practitioners are in partnership, only one shall be eligible for election to the honorary staff. A Memorial Bell. In memory of the late Mr, R. W. Edwards, a master at Rongotai College from its establishment in 192 S until this year, the authorities of the college have decided to provide a bell, which is to be a replica of the Codford bell in the Wellington Carillon set, and has been east by the same firm as supplied the bells in the 'Wellington campanile. It has been suitably embossed and inscribed, weighs 2cwt. and will be swung on a strong projecting beam. Underneath the bell will be placed a handsome tablet of phosphor bronze with silver lettering and inscription—the whole being the work of Mr. E. C. Isaac. At the annual prize-giving of the-college last night the headmaster. Mr. F. M. Renner, stated that it was hoped that the boll would arrive in 'Wellington before the end of the year and would be unveiled early next year.
