GLASS DOMES BROKEN

Vandals in Auckland Cemetery By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, December 17. Between 40 and 50 glass domes covering wreaths on graves at O’Neill’s Point Cemetery, Bayswater, have been broken by vandals. The damage, which is estimated at approximately £lOO, is believed to have been caused wilfully by boys who probably used stones to break the glass. Only two or three of the covers in the Roman Catholic portion of the cemetery escaped damage. The rest in this area were smashed, as were a few in others parts of the cemetery.
