All Descriptions Meet Strong Market

Sydney, December 16.
At the wool sale to-day 12,115 bales were offered and 11,042 sold, 1896 privately. There was strong competition from all sections and the market ruled very firm for all descriptions. Special attention was given to deep-grown spinning wool. Iu the better class clips greasy merino made 22,}d.
The average price last week was £l7 12/3 a bale, or 14.5 d. a pound.
