Britain Affected Very Little

The newspapers welcome the trade returns as further evidence of Britain's prosperity, as exports are still increasing despite sanctions, the effect of which is shown in sectional analyses revealing that exports to Italy have declined in every category, except rubber, non-ferrous metals, and electrical goods, of which heavy purchases were made in anticipation of sanctions
