OBITUARY

Mr. J. J. Breeze The death occurred ou Sunday of John Jerome Breeze, who had been a resident of Masterton for over 23 years, states a “Dominion” Special Service message from Mastertou. Mr. Breeze, who was 56 years of age, was born at Hokitika, joining tbe I’, and T. Department there. After serving at Dunedin, Ashburton, aud Christchurch, he came to Mastertou, where lie had remained ever since. Altogether deceased had served the Department for 38 years. He was a member of the P. aud T. Officers’ Association, and was well known in the town. The deceased is survived by a widow and three children, Othlie, John and Colleen, all of Mastertou. There ure also live brothers,'nil residing in Hokitika, and five sisters, Mesdames Jacobs, Riedrich and Bernie, of Hokitika; Griffin, of Waihi; and Fisher, of Johnsonville.
