Decision to Abolish

Dublin, December 12.

By 76 votes to 57 the Dail Eireann carried Mr. de Valera’s motion for the abolition of the Senate, which automatically becomes law, being a reaffirmation of the motion of May 26, 1934, which the Senate rejected and which has been in abeyance under the Constitution since then.
