Levin Memorial Home

Airs. Stace presided at the monthly meeting of the Levin Memorial Home Committee. Those present were Airs. Luke, Airs. Aleck, Mrs. Poole, Airs. Gillespie and the Alisses Alorrah and Voting. The matron reported that Hie 25 inmates ol the home were in good health, and the committee expressed thanks to Hie ladies’ auxiliary for their help each month in the matter of the children s clothing. All the children passed the St. John Ambulance Cadet Division examination, one girl front the home being first, entitling her to have her name inscribed on the silver cup presented by Airs. Stace. Mrs. Mosley was unanimously elected a member of the committee. The committee wishes to thank the following for'help:—Marsden Pieparatory School, for Christmas party and tree; the Automobile Club, for providing cars for the Alarsden party; Air. Yates, New Zealand Fisheries, Mrs. Gibson. Air. Cooper, Smith and Smith, Aliss Wilson (Stratford), Air. Winter, Air. Elliott, Airs. Chisholm, Airs. Alosley. - Among the really lovely furs at the Nevada Fur Co., an American broadtail coat in a beautiful beige with a handsome collar of beige fox is outstanding. Double silver fox furs and the newest little capes are all veiy delightful. A joyous squirrel coat, the .skins worked in vandykes and perfectly matched, is a joy, and so is a wonderful mink coat with a splendid collar. These are some of the luxury furs among the big stock at the Nevada Fur Co., opp. the D.I.C. The shop that specialises in high-grade furs of superfine quality.—Advt.
