Red Cross Tea
A delightful morning tea followed the annual meeting of the New Zealand Red Cross Society at the Dominion headquarters, when Mrs. J. Abel, wife of the Dominion chairman, assisted by Sister Stringer, was hostess. Among those present were: —Mrs. T. H. Lowry, and Aliss E. Al. King, 0.8. E., of Hawke’s Bay; Airs. E. J. Harvey and Airs. Gainsford, of Marlborough; Afiss Lambie, of the Health Department, Wellington; Airs. H. Smith, of Canterbury; Aliss Jerome Spencer, of Hawke’s Bay; Airs. Veitch, Mrs. Mitchell, and Aliss Jemison, of Taranaki; Mrs. Salt, of Lower Hutt; and Mrs. I. L. Andrews, the Dominion secretary.
