Entries close on Monday. Two rinks from Palmerston North visited Levin on Wednesday, and played a match for the Ainsley Shield, which resulted in a victory for Levin by 41 points to 25. Details are as follow, Levin players being mentioned first: Powell, Brewster, Brown, Bull (s.), 22; Wilson, Jones, Simmonds, Lawson (s.), 12. Mackay, Percy, Langelan, Clements (s)., 19; Morris, Mouldey, Moebun, Boon (s.), 13. The same day a rink consisting of Pink, Sherwood, A. O. Powpll, Sheiuiau (s.) visited Foxton to play for the Kinneburgh Feathers, but were defeated 30-31. The Foxton rink consTsted of Tully, de Ridder, Christie, Hinde («.).
