HOMEWARD LOADINGS

Nine Ships' Allotted

The following nine vessels have been allotted to load Homeward .In New Zealand during December-January :— Commonwealth and Dominion lane.

The motor-ship Port Hobart will commence her leading at New Plymouth on December 13 and completes later at Auckland, Walkokopu, Wellington, Timaru and Port Chalmers. She is due here on December 25 and is to dear Port Chalmers on January 8 for London via Cape Horn. The motor-ship Port Alma Is due at Bluff from Australia on December 4 to commence loading and completes at Wanganui, Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. She is due here, on December 19 and is to clear Lyttelton finally ou December 30 for London. via Cape Horn. The motor-ship Port Wyndham, now en route from London to New Zealand ports, is to commence loading during discharge at Bluff about December 28 and wIU complete later at Napier, Gisborne, Auckland and Wellington. She is due here on January 10 and is to clear this port finally on January 20 for London, via Cape Horn and. Dakar. Federal S.N. Company. The Tekoa is to commence her loading at Wellington next Monday and will leave on December 4 for New Plymouth, Gisborne, Opua, Auckland and Tokomaru Bay to complete, clearing the last-named port finally on December 24 for London, Avonmoutn, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow. The Norfolk is to commence her loading during discharge at Port Chalmers on December 9 and will complete at Timaru, Bluff, Lyttelton,. Napier, Auckland and Wellington. She is due here on January 13 and is to clear this port finally on January 17 for -London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow. The Cornwall is. due at New Plymouth from Australia on December M to load and. completes at Wanganui. Wellington, Gisborne, Opua, Auckland, Tokomaru Bay and Napier. She is due here on December 23 and is to clear Napier finally on January 20 for London. Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow. New Zealand Shipping Company. The motor-liner Rangitane, now en route from London to Wellington and Auckland, is to commence loading during discharge at Auckland on Decembe.- 28 and completes at Napier, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due here on January 11 and is to clear this port finally on January 10 for London, via the Panama Canal. Shaw, Savin Company. The liner Tamaroa, now en route from London to Wellington and Auckland, will commence loading during discharge ■at Auckland about December 12 and completes later at-Lyttelton, Picton and Wellington. She is due here on December 25 and is to clear this port finally ou January 3 for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. The motor-ship Coptic is- due at New Plymouth from Australia on December 28 •to load and completes at Wanganui, Auckland and Wellington. She is due here on January 18 and 1§ to clear this port finally on January 21 for London, via Cape Horn aud Las Palmas. THE DORIC STAR. The Blue Star Line has received cabled advice that the Doric Star left London on Thursday for New Zealand, via South Africa, in place of the New Zealand Star. She is due in New Zealand on January 20 to load MESS-TABLE GOSSIP.' Captain..R, M. Kane has resumed command of tile Tamahine after holidays, replacing Captain C. Sharpe, who is awaiting orders at Wellington. Captain A. T. Adam has taken command of the Kowhai, relieving . Captain C. J. Hackworth, who has been transferred to the Ngatoro. Captain R. Huntly has taken command of the Kiui. HAURAKI REPORTS. ■ En route-from Los Angeles, via Papeete and Apia, the Union Company’s motorship Hauraki has reported by wireless that site expects to reach Auckland at 5 a.m. on Monday. .She will later discharge at Weillngton, Lyttelton. Dunedin, Bluff and Australia, and is due here next Thursday. CANADIAN VICTOR TO-DAY. To continue discharge of her Montreal cargo the Canadian National steamer Canadian Victor is due- at Wellington this morning from Auckland and will berth at the Taranaki Street Wharf. She is to leave agalu on Monday for Australia. RANGITATA’S ALTERED ITINERARY. The New-Zealand Shipping Company advises that its motor-liner Rangitata . will not now load at Tokomaru Bay or Gisborne. ■ Now completing discharge of her London cargo at Wellington site is to leave here next -Tuesday for Napier to commence her Homeward loading and will complete at Auckland and Wellington. She is due back here on December 14 and is to clear this port finally on December 20 for London, via the Panama Canal.

AKAROA CLEARS COLON. Cabled advice has been received by. the Shaw. Savill Company that its liner Akaroa cleared Colon last Wednesday. She left Auckland on November 9 for London via the Panama Canal.
