Results of Opening. Matches Results of the opening matches played by the Upper Hutt Cricket League are as follow:— . Training Depot A scored an outright win over Ordnance. For Depot, Collins played a fine innings of 92. Methodist scored an outright win over St. Joseph’s. Trentham won by default from Upper Hutt. Training Depot B 140 (Wotherspoon 35, Manders 33), and SO for four, declared (Qnerce 39), won on the first ■innings from Maori Bank Colts 118 (Skerton 33, Smith 23), and 34 for two (Smith 20). Bowling for Depot, Queree took six wickets for 35. McCulloch three for 10; and for Colts, N. McGhie took five for 20, and Harper four for 34. The following are the fixtures for next Saturday:—Upper. Hutt v. St. Joseph’s, No. 1 wicket, Maidstone Park, 2 p.m.; Methodist v. Colts, No. 2, Maidstone Park 2 p.m.; Trentham v. Training Depot A, No. 4 Maidstone Park, 2 p.m.; Ordnance v.
