Wahine to Replace Maori The summer running in the Union Company’s Wellington-Lyttelton steamer express service is to commence shortly, the Wahine replacing the Maori. The Wahine. which has been laid up at the Patent Slip (luring the winter months is at present undergoing overhaul ami survey, and will make her first trip from Wellington on Wednesday, October 16. The Rangatira, mi her arrival at Wellington that morning will withdraw from service and lay up here for overhaul, her place being taken by the Wahine. The Rangatira will resume running from Wellington on Friday, November 1. The Wahine on her arrival at Wellington that morning from. Lyttelton will femain in port until the following day, when she will leave for Lyttelton in place of the Maori. The service from then on will be maintained by the Rangatira and Wahine, while the Maori will lay up at Wellington over the summer months.
