NAVAL CONTRACTS

Britain to Build 19 New Ships

TOTAL COST £10,000,000

London, September 29. Between now and next February the Admiralty will place contracts for £10,000,000 in accordance with the 193 a construction programme. The scheme comprises two cruisers, one flotilla leader, eight destroyers, two submarines, one depot ship, four sloops, and one surveying ship, and will provide work for 60,000 men.
