Mr. Justice Page left Wellington for the south last night Colonel F. Symon, Director of Artillery, was a passenger from 'Wellington last night for the north. Mr. M. Doughty left Wellington for the South Island last night.

Cav. Uff. Dlulio Stobbia, Milan, arrived at Wellington yesterday by the Makura from Sydney. Mr. C. Clabburn was a passenger for the south last night from Wellington.
Mr. C. Louisson, president of 'the Manawatu Racing Club, returned yesterday by the Makura from Sydney. Mr. F. E. Tomlinson, Hataitai. accompanied by Mrs. Tomlinson, returned to Wellington yesterday after a visit to Australia. Dr. P. T. Putnam, who attended the recent British Medical Association Conference at Melbourne, arrived at Wellington yesterday by the Makura. Mr. W. W. Service, passenger superintendent in Sydney for the P. and O. Line, arrived at Wellington by the Makura yesterday. Mr. E. J. Isaacs, secretary of His Master’s Voice (N.Z.) Ltd., has returned to Wellington after a visit to Great Britain and America. Mr. J. A. 'Wilson, manager >n New Zealand of the Irish Linen Spinning and Weaving Company, Ltd., arrived yesterday at Wellington by the Makura from Sydney. M. Jean de Narbonne, First President of the French Court of Appeal at Saigon, arrived in Wellington yesterday on his way to Papeete, accompanied by Mme. de Narbonne.
Mr. C. AL Turrell, general manager for New Zealand of the New Zealand Shipping Company, accompanied by Mrs. Turrell, left Wellington for the south last night. Mr. and Mrs. J. Sutherland Ross, Dunedin, who have just returned to New Zealand from a trip abroad, passed through Wellington, yesterday, en route to their home. Mr. J. T. Martin, director of Wright, .Stephenson and Co., Ltd., who is at present visiting England, will leave for Montreal by the Empress of Britain on October 5.
Mr. E. J. Sutch, A.R.A.N.Z., is leaving to-day in the Government steamer Maui Pomare for Western Samoa to take over a position as an accountant in the External Affairs Department. Mr. J. Todd, an English stock breeder from the North Riding of Yorkshire, arrived at Wellington yesterday by the Makura from Sydney. He is making a world tour, for plea.sure.
Mr. Harry Maude, prominent Australian dog-fancier, who is to judge all breeds at the Wellington Kennel Club’s forthcoming championship show, arrived yesterday by the Makura from Sydney. Mr. C. V. Kellway, who is to take up a position in New York on behalf of the Australian Government, is a through passenger on the .Makura which arrived yesterday from Sydney. He is accompanied by his wife, and three children. Mr. W. F. Ingram, well known in ■Wellington as a member of the Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association and a writer and radio speaker on track and field games, has joined the literary staff of National Magazines, Ltd., and will conduct the athletic department of "N.Z. Sporting Life.”
