A MAGNIFICENT STRUCTURE, standing 150 ft. high, built of reinforced concrete and brick, with dressed stone facings, trachyte base, the roof being part flat of concrete, covered with bitumen and gr av ei, the hipped portion being covered with Bangor slates. The woodwork throughout is of walnut. The main stairway has marble treads and risers and marble walls. A second stairway is provided at the rear of the building, having terrazzo treads and risers and tiled dado. THE LAND has a frontage of about 106 FEET 4 INCHES TO CASTLEREAGH STREET, 77 FEET 34 INCHES TO KING STREET, the depth on the Southern side is about 75 feet 7 inches; the rear line is somewhat irregular, and measures about 100 feet. THE TITLE IS TORRENS. THE POSITION is one of the most prominent iu the city, and is eminently suitable for a Banking or Insurance Institution, who could occupy the Ground and First Floors, which have been specially laid out and are ready for immediate occupation, while the upper floors would produce ’a handsome rental and prove a profitable investment.
