New Zealand Team For Japan PLAYERS SELECTED The first university Rugby team from New Zealand to make a tour of Japan will leave Auckland by the Aorangi on December 23, and will play seven matches in Japan, aud probably two in Hong-Kong. Mr. P. Martin-Smith, of Wellington College, sole selector, who will accompany the team as manager, yesterday chose, the following team to make the tour:—

Forwards:—Burke (C.U.C.), Thomas (A.U.C.), Since (C.U.C.), Chapman (0.U.), Ends (V.U.C.), Simmers (0.U.), Drake (A.U.0.), McVeagh (A.U.C.), F. J. Wilson (C.U.C.), Hudson (C.U.C.), Green (0.U.), Laney (0.U.). .Maeftirlaiid (0.U.), and Mulvihill (A.U.C.) were not available.
