Struck By a Motor-car

Injuries which later proved fatal were received by a middle-aged woman believed to be Mrs. Violet Rush, of Takapuna, when she was kno- ked down by a motor-car at Takapuna. Mrs Rush was crossing the road and had passed behind a motor-car travelling toward Devonport, when she was struck by another motor-ear driven 'iy Mr Douglas Broaily, of Northcote, which was proceeding in the opposite direction. She was thrown on to the pavement with considerable force, and received a fractured s-kuli.
