Carl Hjelmstrom, the Swedish apprentice who deserted from the barqne C. B. Pedersen and sailed in a bathtub to Darnley Island, will sail for New Zealand in a few days. Mr. C. E. R. Webber, Dunedin, offered him a position, which he accepted, on an auxiliary yacht.
