Y.M.C.A. Travel Club The monthly meeting of the YAI.C.A. Travel Club was well attended on Wednesday night. A competition Opened the programme, after which Mr. Leigh Hunt (president) welcomed new members, an>l introduced, the speaker of the evening, Mr. David Milligan, whose subject was “Ceylon,” . , Mr. Milligan referred to. the lesserknown aspects of oriental life, particularly the different types of people, their religions, customs, buildings, temples, and also the colourful life on . the . tea plantations. A question period followed, and Mr. Milligan was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. j After a “Spicy” supper had been served, members and friends adjourned to the Blue Triangle Hall, where dancing concluded a pleasant evening.
