Wants Dramatic Role
7ASU PITTS, appearing with James Gleason in R.K.O.’s “Leander Clicks,” wants to play a straight dramatic role, and will, if she can ever find time between her comedy parts to engage in the heavier type of production.
Several years ago Miss Pitts appeared in “Greed,” which many acclaim was the greatest dramatic picture ever produced. After the completion of "Greed,” Eric von Stroheim hailed her as the greatest tragedienne ever to appear on the screen. An unusually strong supporting cast is seen with Gleason and Miss Pitts, including Russell Gleason, Margaret Callahan, Ray Mayer, Artjiyr Stone, Willie Best and Kitty McHugh.
