Wellington Kennel Club

At a recent meeting of the Wellington Kennel Chib executive, .presided over by Mr. William Burke, a letter was received from the Winter Show Association suggesting that the chib should hold a show in conjunction with the Easter Show. The secretary was instructed to inform the show association that this was receiving favourable consideration, amd the executive decision would be given it) November. Remits for the New Zealand Kennel Club’s annual meeting in Christchurch in November were discussed, and several remits were to be forwarded to the New Zealand Kennel Club by the secretary. Various show matters were discussed, and several sub-committees were elected for the entertainment of the visitors and judge. The secretary was instructed to write to all orphanages inviting the children to be present at the show on the second day. The secretary advised that the schedules were now available and were being posted to exhibitors. General discussion on improvements for the show then took place.
