Sydney, August 29. Gay Blonde is now showing definite improvement and exercising lightly at Randwick. The remainder of P. E. Popes team are settling down well. The spring campaign virtually, opens with the Warwick Farm meeting on Saturday. , Golden Chance did the best seven furlongs at Randwick this morning, running 1.31} on the grass He was accompanied by Golden Treasure over the last two furlongs in 25. Tauramai and Scratchmere Scar ran six furlongs in I.lB}, a good gallop. Bhxten and Homer did a fast half-mile, in 511. Legatee went an easy mile in r.oOA Berestoi and Golden Gate did the smartest five furlongs in 1.3 J. , nerry King beat Whittingham over five furlongs in 1.5.’ Sylvandale did an easy seven furlojigs in 1.39, Silver Kmg beat Closing Time over six furlongs in Symcony rah a smart three -furlongs m 37, her first real gallop here.
