Unemployment Taxation

LOWER-PAID WORKERS

The view that the Government should adjust the incidence of unemployment taxation in such a way as to ease the burden on the lower-paid workers, was put forward by the delegates to yesterday’s meeting of the Dominion Council of the New Zealand Manufacturers’ Federation. It was decided to communicate with the Government accordingly.
