CHURCH PARADE

Scots College Old Boys’ Annual Reunion

old boys of Scots College, Wellington, brought their annual reunion celebrations to a ctose last evening with a chureh parade to the Seatoun Presbyterian Church. In addition to a fairly large number of old boys, Mr. J. R. Sutcliffe, the headmaster, the staff and the present schoolboys attended the service, which was conducted by Dr. lan Fraser, of Levin, an old boy of tlie college. Messrs. I. 11. Maearthur and D. W. Virtue read the lessons. Dr. Fraser led up in his sermon to make the point that however diverse in work and condition tlie old boys of the college were, one thing unified them among themselves—their common loyalty to tlie school, and one thing unified them in .society, their loyalty to God. Dr. Fraser said that labour in itself was of .little avail unless people were working in 'God's service. He illustrated this by quoting from St. Paul's life.
