WOMEN’S HOCKEY
New Zealand Team at Sydney (Received July 16, 19.30 p.m.) Sydney, July 16. The New Zealand women’s hockey team arrived in the Manama. All the members are well. Officials of the New South Wales Women’s Hockey Association met the New Zealand hockey players, and gave them a warm welcome on the wharf. The Lady Mayoress received the team this afternoon. Later the players went to University Square for practice. They were guests at an afternoon tea given by the University Club.
