OBITUARY

Mr. F. A. Hook London,- June 26. The death is reported of Mr. Frederick Arthur Hook, F.R.G.S., aged 71 years. The late Mr. Hook, who was 71 years of age, was founder and editor of the well-known shipping journal "Blue Peter.” He held a number of positions in connection with the mercantile marine and also engaged in literary and journalistic work. His publications include "Merchant Adventurers” (1914-18). “Eastwards” (1929), “The Economics of Passage Money,” mid other papers on mercantile subjects. He \was a contributor to “The Times,” the “Daily Telegraph" and other papers.
