LATE MR. W. FERGUSON

A tribute to the work of the late Mr. W. Ferguson for the War Relief Association of Wellington was paid by the chairman, Mr. L. O. H. Tripp, at yesterday’s meeting of the executive committee of the. association. A vote of sympathy witli the late Mr. Ferguson’s relatives was .carried. Mr. Tripp said Mr. Ferguson was the first chairman of the society and that during the early days he was most active in connection with the incorporation of the society. He had retired from the position of chairman when he became chairman of the efficiency board.
