J.B. (Denniston) : Possibles 25, Probables 11. “National Reconstruction” Sir,—ln your issue of June 22, your correspondent has generally expressed the opinion of most thinking citizens. Unfortunately, we are living in an extremely selfish age, ns exemplified by concerted drives for cut restorations in lieu of placing more men in employment. The practical solutiou is a personal income tax on the English scale —abolish the present unemployment tax, sales tax, and institute a cipher .superannuation scheme to cull sufficient out of situations and make room for youth. 1 shall be pleased to forward "S” or others interested a copy of my scheme, showing its practicability.—l am, etc., N 66.
