CLEM DAWE REVUE

Bright, clean humour is the keynote of “Joy Bells.” the latest presentation of the popular Clem Dawe Revue Company, now at. the Grand Opera House. Ever popular with New Zealand audiences, Clem Dawe is as amusing as ever, and seems possessed of the faculty for raising laughs at will. “Joj- Bells” is, however, by no means a ona-man show. Muriel O'Malley, contralto, and Ann Luciano, soprano, reveal themselves as artists of more than average merit, and Gregory Ivanoff is an able violinist. Halliday and Watson are a clever pair of dancers, as also is Edna Moncrieff. The ballet is a feature of the show, as is the jazz band conducted by Clem Dawe, while the frocks and settings are really good.
