FIRE AT FOXTON
Billiard Room Damaged
Dominion Special Service.
Foxton, June 10.
Eire broke out in a billiard room in Main Street occupied b.v Mr. J. Martin and owned b.v Mr. E. S. Easton at 3 a.m. yesterday. The brigade was able to make a good save and the building was not extensively damaged. The outbreak was discovered by Mr. and Mrp. J. M’alls, who live above, the room. They were awakened by the noise of the fire ami smoke which filled their living quarters. Damage was done to the southern wall and the flooring. One eeat was destroyed and tables suffered from water.
