GIRL’S CLAIM FAILS
Breach of Promise Action By Telegraph.—Press Association. New Plymouth, June 10. A judgment announcing the failure of a claim for £5OO damages for alleged bread) of promise to marry was delivered by Mr. Justice Callan to-day. Leah Haughton, of Hawera, sued Gregory Horace Perrett, defence force trainee at Trentham. The hearing was completed on Saturday and judgment wits reserved until to-day. His Honour said he accepted tlie evidence of Perrett denying a promise to marry.
