WORKER’S INJURY

£1046 Damages Claimed

Damages amounting to £1046 were claimed in the Wellington Supreme Court yesterday by Charles O’Reilly, a waterside worker, from the NapierWellington Daily Transport Co., Ltd., for injuries received by being knocked down by one of the company's lorries. The hearing was adjourned until to-day.

The accident occurred on March 5 at the intersection of Jervois Quay and Wakefield and tfaranaki Streets. Plaintiff alleged negligence against I lie driver.
